A little more information on Boonslick Lodge if you have not seen this site.  It is really pretty nice.  How to get here.

South on 71 from joplin it is about 19 miles.  Go to the second Neosho exit, Neosho/Seneca or Highway 60.  Turn east from the off ramp and go 1.3 miles to the third stoplight.  1st light is right under the highway.  Turn south or right at the third lite and go 0.3 mile to second stoplight.  On your left is a Burger King and directly behing it is the Boonslick Lodge.
To our house you need to get back on Highway 59, the one you turned off of to get to Boonslick.
Turn south or left and go 7.2 miles to Goodman, MO or the first stoplight you will come to after the motel.  Turn east or left at the lite (big Goodman neon sign is here) and go exactly 3.0 miles to our driveway.  As before you will go over RR tracks in 1/2 mile then highway C will curve to left and then curve to right and you will go through the metropolis of Goodman.  At the end of Goodman street and residental area you will go down a deep hollow and you are about 2.1 miles away on a curvy road and such.  I will have some orange traffic cones out on the highway before our driveway.  We are at the top of a hill with a brown house across from our driveway, three newer mailboxes are there as is a new batch of compaction gravel.  Call if you need help,  364-6421.

Directions to Bill & Charlotte's House:
The general directions for our place is take Highway 71 south or north depending on which direction you are coming.  It jogs around Carthage to the West on I-44 about 6 miles then continues south from Joplin on Highway 71. At the junction going south out of Joplin you can get gas for $1.86 at the Flying J truck stop.  As soon as you head south off of I-44 take the 32nd street exit and you will be at the Flying J.  Back to the highway, out of Joplin on 71 you proceed about 23 miles south to the Goodman exit.  Go east, left turn off of ramp, go about 1 mile and take a right at stop sign at the tee intersection.  Go about ¼ mile and then turn east again on C highway, look for large old fashioned neon sign “Goodman”.  This highway goes over railroad tracks takes a sharp left and then a sharp right.  This puts you into the metropolis of Goodman and lasts for about 4-5 blocks.  As you exit the town there is a downhill grade into and out of a hollow.  We are 2.4 miles on down the road from the hollow on the left or North side.  I will have a couple of orange traffic cones on the side of road that designates our driveway.  Three mailboxes are together as is a new layer of compaction gravel.  If you pass the driveway and come to a narrow newer style bridge that has been marked for only one lane, about ½ mile from our driveway, turn around and come back up the hill.  You can see our house and shop building as you come up the hill on the right so slow down and turn right at the top.
